Development of Composer that is integrated with Microsoft Outlook and it identifies the contacts that have mobile phone numbers for sending SMS. Facilitates two-way interaction that will enables handset replies to be delivered back to the email inbox using telecom gateways. Composing a web-based interface that will receive messages from email as SMS on the mobile phone or send messages from the mobile phone as SMS to groups/ individuals (mobile phone or an email address) in the address book and managing the address book. Design and demonstration of wireless marketing with full reporting & management functionalities using SMS, CRM marketing tool incorporating SMS for interactive communication with customers, timely dissemination of information, Interactive suite of SMS applications for live TV/radio/internet broadcasts or live events. Incorporation of PDA technology in a new operational system of an electrical company for processing ad-hoc meter-reading requests from electricity retailers and recording the readings on the PDAs and synchronization with centralized server for invoice generations and bill proceedings. Dissemination student exam results via SMS for a tertiary organisation in New Zealand, scientific applications for the community welfare using SMS texts, integration of SMS functionality for pocket PC software through mobile phones and sending SMS to web server applications and integration of WAP technology in interactive betting applications.
